Installing
Open the installer
Open NexviaJewelSetup.exe from your Downloads folder.
If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”
Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Windows shows this because the installer isn’t signed with a Windows certificate yet. Before you click “Run anyway”, you can check the file is exactly the one Nexvia published (below).
Allow it to make changes
Click “Yes” when Windows asks. The app is installed for everyone who uses this PC.
Choose Main PC or Counter PC
“Main PC” on the PC that keeps the books; “Counter PC” on the others. A counter PC finds the main PC on the shop network and pairs with a 6-digit code.
Check the file
In PowerShell, in the folder you downloaded to, run:
Get-FileHash .\NexviaJewelSetup.exe -Algorithm SHA256The Hash it prints must match the SHA-256 above, character for character. If it doesn’t, delete the file and don’t run it.
Updates
The installed app finds new versions by itself. Every update is signed by Nexvia, and the app refuses anything that isn’t.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
- One PC kept on during shop hours as the main PC.
- A shop network (cable or Wi-Fi) for counter PCs.
- Internet on the main PC at least once every 7 days, for the licence check.
