The licence

A licence belongs to one Nexvia account and is active on one main PC at a time. Every counter PC on that shop’s network uses it through the main PC; there is no limit on their number or on the people who sign in.

The Standard licence creates normal companies. The Jewellery licence creates jewellery and normal companies. The phone app, website access and the payment QR on bills are part of every licence. Add-ons such as Branch access count only while the licence is active and the add-on is paid.

Licence check and educational mode

The main PC checks the licence with Nexvia when it starts and every 6 hours. If it can’t reach Nexvia for 7 days in a row, or the licence is not active, the app works in educational mode: everything opens, and new entries can be dated only the 1st, 2nd or 31st of a month.

A PC whose clock has been turned back is treated as not licensed until the clock is right.

Moving the licence

You may surrender the licence on one PC and activate it on another, or move it directly. The PC that loses it switches to educational mode at its next check.

Your data

Your books are yours. They stay on your PC unless you choose the online copy, and you can take them out at any time, including after your licence ends.

Keep your recovery code safe. Without it, a backup can’t be opened on a new PC, and Nexvia can’t open it for you.

What the software won’t do

The software keeps an audit trail that can’t be switched off or edited. It won’t hide a GST-registered company’s own sales or stock from its returns, set such a company to “no tax”, or hide books from a lawful inspection. Don’t use it to break the law.

Payments

Prices are shown before you buy, in Indian rupees and before GST, which is added to the invoice. The first year and each yearly renewal are paid in advance. Until online payment opens, Nexvia activates licences by hand after payment is agreed.

Responsibility

Check your figures and returns before you file them; the app helps but doesn’t replace your accountant. To the extent the law allows, Nexvia’s responsibility is limited to the amount paid for the licence in the last 12 months.

Law and disputes

These terms follow Indian law. Disputes go to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
